PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Nutrition and Diet Therapy Program is designed for individuals that would like to understand the knowledge behind nutrients and its effect on diet. Major nutrients discussed in this program would be as follows: Carbohydrates, Lipids, Protein, Vitamins, Water and Minerals. Nutrition during various stages of life will also be discussed such as infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood. Special considerations of nutrition during pregnancy and lactation will also be emphasized. In addition to all the previous topics, controlled and modified diets taking into consideration the fibers, carbohydrates, fat, proteins and minerals in certain diseases will also be discussed in detail. This program is offered online. This is a self-paced course; this means that you can complete this program at your learning pace within the allotted duration of program access.
